About this Australian Business Directory

About Us

This free Australian Business directory was created to do two things. Firstly, to give Australian businesses free online advertising, to grow their businesses by advertising online for free in Australia. This is more important now more than ever, as businesses recover from the recent economic turmoil.

What areas of Australia Does This Directory cover?

This directory will grow to cover more regions, and more types of businesses. While we can't hope to list every business in Australia that is looking for free online advertising, we will review all submissions. If we think your business is something our Australian business directory website would benefit from, we will list it online, for free.

Over time, we will be covering businesses all over Australia, in all States and Territories, This will include Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria, Australian Capital Territory, Tasmania, South Australia, Western Australia and the Northern Territory. We don't currently have plans to expand this free directory for Australian businesses to include New Zealand, or other countries, for reasons that might perhaps seem obvious.

We will also be including major cities such as the State and Territory Capitals. This includes Brisbane, Sydney, Canberra, Hobart, Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth and Darwin. We won't be stopping there though. Larger towns too can list business advertising listings online for free in our Australian directory. These will include regional hubs such as those in the table below.

FAQ's

Probably the ones we get most are these two.

Question: How long does it take my listing to be added

Answer: It depends on what else is happening on the site. All listings are reviewed for quality before they go live, so it can take a little while.

Question: I've seen my business listed here but didn't send it in. How does that happen?

Answer: Like many online directories or review sites, we receive submissions from many visitors. Many just want to share a good experience or a great business they know about. If that's the case, we list it. We aren't a review site though, so we only list the facts, such as business name, address and the services provided.

Many people also ask us what kind of businesses or services we write articles about. We love entertaining, celebrations and family. With that in mind, it made sense to start there.

So we've kicked off with a series of handy articles about places, businesses and services that involve weddings and celebrations. As the Sunny state of Queensland is probably the warmest, and we think one of the most celebration prone, we started there. Check out our Sunshine Coast, Brisbane and of course, our Gold Coast page for more detail.

We will add more over time, such as Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra, Adelaide, Perth, and other regions and areas, so do feel free to let us know if your business is in those areas.

"Thank you so much for your free listing. It's services like this that help small businesses grow into bigger businesses - which means we can hire more staff. And that's a good thing for everyone. Thank you again!"
